                Farm Camp 2024

Camp Dates for 2024: 


Week 1: June 10-15: Poultry-- 3 spaces available

                       Campers will be learning about different types of poultry, the eggs that they lay,

                     and care of poultry.

Week 2:  June 17-21: Construction.-- 5 spaces available

                      Campers will be learn how to use hand tools.  Using those skills, we will be building a 

                      camper chosen structure for them to use and for al and future campers to enjoy.


Week 3:  June 24-28:  Goat Week 1--Week 5: July 15-19 Farm Animal Week -

                   trip to County Fair 6 spaces available

                       Campers will be learning about caring for goats, showing goats, and demonstrating

                       their achievements  with a goat show on Friday.

Week 4:  July 8-12:  STEM Week

                        Campers will be learning about how STEM fits into farming.


Week 5:  July 15-19  Farm animal Week

                    Campers will be learning about different livestock and taking a field trip to the County Fair


Week 6:  July 22-26:  Goat Week 2--8 spaces available

                     Campers will be learning about caring for goats, showing goats, and demonstrating their

                     accomplishment with a goat show on Friday.


Week 7:  July 29-Aug. 2:  Bugs and Bees

                     Campers will be exploring the roll of bees and bugs in our everyday life  


Week 8:  August 5-9:  Foodie Week

                      Campers will be making fun foods using local products.


Week 9:  August 12-16:  Crafting Week

                        A lot of fun crafts for them to take home.  Also using natural material to make beautiful art.


Week 10: August 19-23 - Woodworking--FULL

                         Campers will learn to use tools to build projects to take home.                                                                                                                                                                        




Each week we focus on a different aspect of farming.   Chores will include gardening, feeding the goats, bottle feeding goat kids, milking goats, caring for pigs, calves, caring for the chickens including collecting eggs and refreshing the laying nest, cleaning pens, feeders, and aisle.  At times, we bring in experts to teach and do special presentations.


Rates:  $250 per week.  Campers coming for more than 4 weeks will receive reduced reduced rates of $230 per week beginning their 5th week of camp.

Sibling rate for the same week:  $225
.
Surround care hours of 7:00am to 8:00am available for $25 per week

Surround care hours of 3:30 to 5:30 pm is available for $50

$50 non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit will be required to guarantee your child's spot.  You will receive an invoice through Square in about a week after registration.  

If you are cancelling with less than one week notice, the balance will not be refunded.

All balances are due by June 1st unless prior arrangements are made.
