Welcome to Rainbow Ridge Farm Camp
Rainbow Ridge is located just north of La Crosse Wisconsin . Youth ages 7-12 will develop confidence through farm-work, exploration, and play amid life on the farm. If you have a child between the ages of 5-6 that would like to come to camp, please contact us directly. Here, children learn to care for animals, cultivate and harvest vegetables, and learn what it means to be good stewards of the earth. The children will participate in hands-on culinary and creative activities that connect them to food, farming, and nature. Our organized farm activities including caring for goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, and calves. Farm-to-table gardening, cooking, crafts, and outdoor fun round out the week. We provide your child with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests, all while participating in real life on a local farm.
Typical daily schedule:
8:00 Campers arrive/Morning Circle
8:30 Farm animal chores
9:30 Snack
9:45 Lesson 1
11:00 Lesson 2
12:15 Lunch
1:00 Story or quiet time
1:30 Choice: Games, crafts, creek, or animals
3:15 Daily wrap up
3:30 Students leave for the day
*Students will rotate between gardening, and agricultural crafts.
