Welcome to Rainbow Ridge Farm Camp!

Hello Families

We are looking forward to year 12 of Rainbow Ridge Farm Camp in 2025! Every week this summer will be a celebration of farm-fresh food, the animals in our care, creative crafting, and so much more! Our Day Camp designed for kids ages 7 thru 12.

We have an awesome group of counselors that will guide and encourage your child in discovering new adventures.

As many of our tasks are hands-on, it is necessary that the children come in clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Proper footwear is essential too, so please send your child with shoes that can be comfortable on hot days as well as being suitable for farm work -- closed toed shoes only! Flip-flops and animal hooves don’t mix. Part of the day may be spent cooling off in water games and play, please send your child with a swimsuit and towel plus a change of clothes. 

Like all farmers, we will get pretty hungry and thirsty as we go about our daily chores; please send your child with a hearty nutritious lunch, a snack for mid-morning, as well as a water bottle clearly labeled with your child’s name.

The enrollment form, that we ask you to fill out for each child attending the program is essential information that we need to have on file before camp begins. Also, to ensure your child’s placement in the camp, all balances are due June 1st. If your child is enrolled for the entire season, a payment schedule can be worked out. We have online enrollment and after we receive your child's enrollment, we will send an invoice through Square. If the week(s) your child wants to attend are full, please enroll them anyway so that we can put them on the waiting list.

  • Hearty lunch and snack

  • Hat and sunscreen (please write your child's name on the sunscreen)

Rainbow Ridge is located just north of La Crosse Wisconsin . Youth ages 7-12 will develop confidence through farm-work, exploration, and play amid life on the farm. If you have a child between the ages of 5-6 that would like to come to camp, please contact us directly. Here, children learn to care for animals, cultivate and harvest vegetables, and learn what it means to be good stewards of the earth. The children will participate in hands-on culinary and creative activities that connect them to food, farming, and nature. Our organized farm activities including caring for goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, and calves. Farm-to-table gardening, cooking, crafts, and outdoor fun round out the week. We provide your child with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests, all while participating in real life on a local farm. Rainbow Ridge Farm Camp sows the seeds of responsibility, respect, community and stewardship. Students reap the rewards for a lifetime.
